Inktober 2017 (Ink/Wash on Poster Paper) - Creation of Lessons From A Fallen Empire
For Inktober 2017, I used an unusual Apocalyptic Wasteland prompt list that was a mix of scifi and fantasy. As I worked on the sketches and formed characters, I imagined what kind of bizarre world these characters would inhabit. Before the end of the month, I was so fascinated by the concept that I brainstormed a story, and decided on a comic to keep it close to art.
Lessons From A Fallen Empire, a dark/horror apocalyptic fantasy series, was born in 2017 and shared on Webtoons. 13 pencil-drawn episodes for Volume 01 were created, and after a hiatus I'll be digitally remastering the 2018 pencil comic and continuing the series.
